A Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of parents, teachers, and staff who work together to support and improve the educational experience for students in a particular school. The organization is ran by volunteer parents and teachers, and it serves as a liaison between the school and the community. Our PTOs hold meetings, plan events and fundraisers, and provide resources and support for the school and its students. The main goal of a PTO is to enhance the educational experience and create a sense of community within the school.
The PTO’s mission is to work together with the parents to provide the needs of the school, staff and students of St. Lawrence School when possible. We work as together as a group group in a fun and light hearted atmosphere to celebrate ensure no one member is overwhelmed with work.
The PTO provides scholarships for each student at St. Lawrence, assists in the beautification of the school, hosts teacher appreciation events, contributes funding to major projects such as the playground and provides the funding for field trips so most are free of charge for our students.
