K-8 MusicBy day Shannon Jaehnen teaches K-8 music and by night paints furniture and plays music. Her love of music started at an early age and inspired her to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Union College. While studying music Mrs. Jaehnen toured with the Union College Singers, performed at the Cabaret Jazz Festival, and won the Katherine P. Sutphin Award for excellence in music. Mrs. Jaehnen has been teaching music since 1999 and says that St. Lawrence School is her favorite school because she can be herself. At St. Lawrence, she teaches piano, voice, guitar, advanced music, and general music. Mrs. Jaehnen's music can be found on Itunes, and she is releasing new music this year!
