Jay Sprague

7th Grade Homeroom, Middle School Science & Math, Elementary STREAM

Mr. Sprague is in his 1^st year at St. Lawrence School and his 35^th year overall in education. Mr. Sprague holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology & Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University. He earned his Master’s in Chemistry from Xavier University. He lives in Hidden Valley Lake with his wife Kim, who is the DRE & Youth Minister at St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross Parish in Bright, Indiana, and their Labrador, Indy. They have two children. Emma, a Physician’s Assistant who is married and lives in Indianapolis, and Cody who is an engineer with Honda in Greensburg and whom Father Ben is marrying this May. Mr. Sprague is involved in the Music Ministry at St Teresa where he has played guitar at Masses for over 15 years. In his spare time, he is usually playing his guitars, fishing, hunting or enjoying his grandson. Mr. Sprague has over 35 years of coaching experience in football, track, and soccer with several Kentucky High School State Championship Teams. His family’s favorite saying is, “Life is Good.”
