Delay and Cancellation Guidance

At the link above, you will find several scenarios that could occur because of inclement weather
this winter. While it may seem complex, please know that you will be reminded, the morning
of the delay or cancellation, of what is going to happen on that day. Our school pulls in
students from a large geographic area than before. We also run two of our own buses
each and every day.
Our goal is to send out messages from PowerSchool to every family in the event of
closure or delay. For the majority of families, there will be no change to past practices. We will
continue to follow Lawrenceburg Community Schools in closing or delay.
Local news stations 5,9,12, and 19 will run those announcements at the bottom of the screen and list them online.
Communication is always important. In the scenarios where a judgment call must be
made, please reach out to us. We care for all of you and know that each of you is a gift from
our God. Your safety is paramount. If a student misses work due to unsafe weather conditions,
he or she will still need to make up anything missed.
