Dearborn County parents are being invited to learn how their children can benefit from a faith-based education at St. Lawrence School.
The school located at 524 Walnut Street in Lawrenceburg, Indiana is hosting an Open House on Sunday, January 28 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.
“We are looking forward to meeting with potential new families. This is a chance for people to meet our wonderful staff, dedicated parents, and outstanding students,” says principal Mike Odar.
At St. Lawrence, the staff’s dedication to a Catholic education is apparent in each class, subject, and activity. The school’s goal is to help each student find their unique strengths, build on those strengths and obtain academic and personal success while exploring and nurturing their relationship with God.
During the Open House, parents and their prospective students will have the opportunity to meet with the school principal and faculty, receive a student-guided tour of the building, and learn about athletics and other extracurricular activities such as scouts, archery, and drama clubs.
Affording a private education is easier than you think. Information on tuition assistance through the Indiana Choice Scholarship program will be provided to each family attending the open house.
“Our school offers multiple avenues for financial assistance. SGO's, School Choice Scholarships, and assistance provided from our parishioners can help make the cost of attending more feasible for those in need. The biggest thing I would recommend is to ask, you might be surprised at what we can do to help,” says Odar.
The open house is free of charge and reservations are not required to attend St. Lawrence School’s Open House. Visitors should park in the parking lot in the back of the school on Short Street. Questions can be answered by contacting Principal Mike Odar at (812) 537-3690 during regular school hours or emailing modar@sls-apps.org.
